Mount fabrication and installation

When a private collector approached Allison & Ross with his collection of hand-carved Kwakwaka’wakw raven masks by contemporary Northwest Coast artist Simon Dick, we worked with the client to design custom mounts that would be both non-invasive and secure. For each mask, our in-house mountmaker designed and fabricated a wall mount specifically created to give each mask personality and life in its display. These mounts were fabricated out of bent brass painted to match the wall color and be as inconspicuous as possible. Our team of skilled installers helped place the masks in a cohesive arrangement in the collector’s home, and installed the mounts safely and securely.
